We have been wanting to do some educational events for some time now and we were so excited to start off our educational series with Herbs. The Basic Herbs seminar was held at The Farnum Plaza next to The Pet Beastro store in Madison Heights, Michigan. We spent the day going over American and Chinese herbs, the five elements (metal, water, wood, fire and earth), cleanses for the liver, lungs, kidney, lymph, parasite, and blood, and Jill’s top 12 herbal favorites for cats and dogs.
We even created a salve and a tea infusion that can be used with your pets. Everyone got to take home samples and got an in depth booklet as a reference guide to use with their own pets. We kept hearing that these were super simple to make and that they had no idea that pet’s health goes far beyond just the food we give our pets. Good health is a process even for our pets.
We can’t wait to offer this and the advanced herbs course soon.
SAVE THE DATE: The Pet Beastro is expanding. We are having an open house to show off our new home on August 2nd in the evening.
